Houston born and raised, Brennan Harmeier had over a decade of experience in the Houston restaurant industry before he found his way to a’Bouzy in 2018. With his hard work and determination, he was promoted to manager and the restaurant’s first sommelier after serving tables for only 2 years. While at a’Bouzy, his thirst for a deeper knowledge of wine began, particularly champagne. In late 2019, Brennan passed his Level 1 exam with the Court of Master Sommeliers. In 2020, he completed his WSET Level 1 and WSET Level 2 with Distinction. Brennan has a passion for wine and is often providing enological education to the staff and on his Instagram @snarky_somm. Brennan believes wine is about the juxtaposition of science and art. With his extensive knowledge of wine and understanding of a’Bouzy’s menu, Brennan enjoys creating a bespoke experience for every guest. Repas san vin, repas chagrin. Cheers!
